When Children are baptised we say: "We welcome you
into the Lord's Family".
At Christ Church we
run a very popular Junior Church with Creche facilities.
The children learn about Jesus using Scripture Union Resources. Junior
Church runs at the same time as our
main Sunday service, except on the third
Sunday of the month when we hold an all age family
service when the children join the adults in their worship. Junior
Church usually does not meet during school holidays, so look
below for specific dates.
Each year a Junior Church Representative is selected to
help organise fun events for the whole church family.
There is also a ten/fifteen group of children who meet
at cafe 100, next to the Parish Church in Holmfirth,
every third Sunday evening.
Next to the gallery room where
the children meet for Junior Church there is a room for
babies and toddlers.
