You will need to wear loose, comfotable clothing
and bring a yoga mat or blanket to work on.
You will also need something warm for the relaxation.

Events which
took place in 2008
Harvest Festival – took place on 28th September.
Dried/tinned goods were sent to Africa via Cart
- thanks to all who contributed. There was a Harvest
Junior Church during the service and a Harvest
Lunch afterwards. .
In the evening there was a Harvest Evensong at
7pm and then at around 8pm a Harvest Home –
Harvest Auction at the Rock, Brockholes, proceeds
to Christ Church.
Family Quiz Night. Wooldale Community Centre,
Fri 3rd October 7pm.
John Rolls was the
most excellent Quizmaster. Thanks to organisers Kay ,
Claire , Jo Howitt, and to those who supported the event.
Christ Church Bonfire : Sunday 2nd November, 6.00pm, at Fulstone.
Autumn
Fair/ Christmas bazaar – was on November 15th in New Mill
Club.
In 2008, the bazaar raised
a total of £1165, thanks to all those who helped
and contributed.

These are always enjoyable and memorable.
Flower Festival
In September 2001, a flower festival was held
to celebrate the 170th anniversary.
Choir at the BBC
The choir presented the music on the BBC Daily
Service, 9.45-10.00am, Radio 4 LW on 21st/22nd
August 2002. They broadcast the Wednesday service
live from Emmanuel Church, Didsbury, and then
recorded the music to be broadcast the following
day. David Kaye took these photos.
