REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY 2009 at CHRIST CHURCH

The service of Remembrance was held on November 8th. Over 200 people packed the church, including groups from the Air Force, the Army and the Navy.  Several people contributed readings or reminiscences, making the service both poignant and meaningful.  Hepworth Band and New Mill church choir led the singing.

After the service, the band led the long parade to the village war memorial where wreaths were laid.

Anne Browne wrote a very appreciative letter to the Huddersfield Examiner about this service (Click here to see it, it's about half way down the page).  Thank you, Anne.
