The Gala Picture Exhibition was really enjoyable. Lots of people from the local community attended. Our thanks to Sarah Branson for putting the exhibition together and for being at most of it. Sarah also worked with children from Wooldale School to make some of the bricks. Alongside the joy of reflecting on a happy day in summer  the exhibition brought into focus the Mill that so very much dominated our village for many years.  Its recent demolition has left people in the community with very mixed feelings.

Thanks also to Alex Moorhouse, Francesca & Juliet James, Dr Geoffrey Lockwood & Rebecca Parr, Sue Phillips, Will Robertshaw and his dad who read a poem for the light but most enjoyable entertainments.
